(Re)Create. Towards a Theory of Heteronomous Texts
What exactly are heteronomous texts? Our RTG addressed this fundamental question and many possible answers to it in our first conference under the title “(Re)Create. Towards a Theory of Heteronomous Texts” (5–7 September 2024). The application of the heteronomy concept was tested on works from the 8th century BCE to the 16th century CE, thus significantly advancing its theoretical development. We would like to thank our speakers for their stimulating contributions and perspectives and the audience in attendance and online for their participation in the discussion. A conference report is in preparation.
